How large is the village?
Glandorf is a historic, quaint village where you can access conveniences just a short walk or golf cart ride away. Approximately 1,000 residents call the Village of Glandorf home.
Where is the village administrative office located?
The Village Administration Office is located at 203 North Main Street, next to the Fire Station. The office doors are on the east side (back) of the building.
What are the village administrative office hours?
Office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Monday evening hours are 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., except during June, July, and August. Please contact the Village Administration Office at 419-538-6953, ext. 2 to set up an appointment if needed.
Who do I contact about the Glandorf Village Income Tax?
The Fiscal Officer serves as the Tax Administrator and may be reached at 419-538-6953, ext. 2 or village@villageofglandorf.com. The Village of Glandorf imposes a 1.5% municipal income tax. Every resident over the age of 18 is required to file a Village tax return, even if no tax is due.
How do I obtain a building permit?
Building permit applications may be obtained online. Each completed application is subject to approval, and all applicable fees must be remitted to the Village Administration Office.

Does the Village offer incentives like tax abatements or CRA?
The Village of Glandorf passed Ordinance No. 1493 in 2019 to establish a Community Reinvestment Area (CRA) tax abatement. An eligible homeowner may apply for a temporary reduction in property taxes after constructing a new home or making improvements to an existing residence.

How do I pay my water/sewer bill?
Payments can be made through any of the following methods:
- At the Village Administration Office during office hours.
- Using the drop box located behind the Village Administration Office/Fire Station.
- By mail to P.O. Box 91, Glandorf, OH 45848.
- Online through the Village’s third-party payment processor, AllPaid.
Can I set up my water/sewer bill to be paid automatically every month?
Water/sewer bills can be set up for monthly payment via ACH. An authorization form must be completed and returned to the Village Administration Office.
Can water/sewer bills be emailed?
Water/sewer bills can be emailed, helping save the Village time and money. An authorization form must be completed and returned to the Village Administration Office.
How do I reserve a shelter house?
The Village Administration Office manages shelter house rentals. Contact the office at 419-538-6953, ext. 1 or stop by to schedule a reservation.
Please note: Effective with 2027 reservations, insurance liability forms must be completed and filed with the Village Administration Office. A $25 non-refundable fee will also be charged.
How do I obtain a Solicitor’s License?
All solicitor permits must be applied for and paid for at the Village Administration Office per Ordinance #1498. The permit must be shown at all times by all solicitors.
Solicitors and peddlers may not knock on doors or ring doorbells at any residence until they have completed a permit application, returned it to the Village Administration Office, and paid all required fees.
When is trash picked up?
Trash collection is managed by Werlor, Inc. for all Glandorf residents. The current pickup day is Tuesday. Please contact Werlor to set up trash collection or with any questions.

Does the village have brush, grass clipping, and composting? Where is the location?
The Village offers a brush collection area on the west side of Deters Park. This is free of charge; however, please make sure that only brush, grass clippings, and other accepted compost materials are placed in this area.
